This American 70 ton 0−6−0 diesel design built by the Plymouth Locomotive Works, Plymouth, Ohio (a division of the Fate-Root-Heath Company) is used in industrial service (e.g. Inland Steel Company, No.49), yard switching (shunting), branchline operation, and by shortline railroads for their entire mainline haulage.
