IRS London Area - Summer Evening Visits

Up-dated 13 August 2008

Summer Evening Visits

During the summer months (May - August), the IRS arranges visits to various industrial, preservation or miniature railway sites in the London area, usually on the evening of the second Thursday of the month. Visits are arranged to suit people travelling by public transport, after work in London. If you are travelling by car, and have empty seats, please report at the station indicated. If your car is full, or you are running late, go straight to the site. Non-members welcome, but expect to be given a membership application form! Unless stated otherwise, donations of £3.00 will be collected on the night. The IRS will keep a small admin fee; the rest will go to our our hosts or a charity of their choice.

Fred Pugh arranged the following visits for 2008:-

Thursday June 5th - Old Kiln Light Railway, Farnham

Thursday July 17th - Lavender Line, Isfield

Thursday August 7th - Ascot Locomotive Society
