Foreign Books

As well as its books on UK subjects, for many years the IRS has also produced books on industrial railways in overseas countries, and more are planned for the future. We also do the occasional book on non-industrial subjects, such as the current Spanish Narrow Gauge Locos book. Unless otherwise stated, the books listed below are all in A5 (5.8 x 8.2") format, with stitched sections and card covers, and contain a selection of photos and in some cases maps.

	'Elrington- The 'Peter Pan Colliery' 1927-1962' by Ross Mainwaring ISBN 0 909340 47 6 Elrington is a history of a coalmine near Cessnock NSW, established by the Broken Hill Proprietary Co. Ltd in 1927 to supply coal to its Newcastle steelworks.
