The Industrial Railway Society (in association with the Loco Club of Great Britain and other groups) is hoping to organise a series of trips and steam specials in the UK, for industrial enthusiasts.
We will also be publicising charters organised by other groups, when we consider them worthy of support.

Special arrangements have
been made for a steam locomotive and passenger coach to operate in conjunction
with a cement works diesel locomotive to mark the 80th anniversary of the
opening of the Barrington Cement Plant and the associated Barrington Light
Railway
on
Thursday 30th August 2007
and
Tuesday 4th September 2007
